What they should do is dismantle a system that preys on people who don’t understand that they’re prey. The price of college is obscene and nonsensical. The propaganda about the Rugby Player Comoros Flag Sports Ball Rugby Vintage T-Shirt besides I will buy this value of a degree, specifically a degree from a high-priced institution, is insidious. Higher education in this country is just one more way that capitalism is sucking the wealth out of our society. When I was a teenager, I genuinely didn’t understand that I had options other than college. It was just what I was supposed to do. Teenagers can’t buy a beer, but they can decide to take on thousands in debt? Most likely printing money to “cure the Rugby Player Comoros Flag Sports Ball Rugby Vintage T-Shirt besides I will buy this cancer”. Which spreads the “cancer” (inflation) to everyone a little bit. How many more months until the BLS reports double digit consumer inflation? It’s poetic that the borrowers promised to pay the loan back and didn’t. Then Biden promised to pay their loans off and didn’t. I don’t know what we call this phenomenon, but damn the shit is good. I fail to see how student loans are any different than other kinds of debt. Why shouldn’t the government forgive all mortgages too? Oh it’s not fair to apartment renters? Exactly. pretending that selfishly not wanting to pay back a loan you voluntarily took is somehow noble and altruistic. pay back your loan, you whiny nerds
