That’s a good idea, it reminds me of when I was a kid and would bring an extra pair of clothes to school on spirit days when we could dress up lol. I’d make my mom drive by the school slowly until I saw if other kids dressed up and then I’d put on my outfit and go. It’s really a beautiful dress. And I love that deep red color. However I think it’s too low cut for an office holiday party. Don’t know if I’ll get flagged for this comment, but I am SO irritated that I should wonder why this pretty dress is inappropriate. It’s mostly men so there’s not really much of a precedent for what women wear. That’s why it’s so tricky for me. I work predominately with men and for years it was so hard to pick out outfits before I got a vibe of the wives’ style lol you look amazing! It’s tough! I still don’t know what to wear on hot days in the lab because the guys can wear shorts, but idk if I can get away with that! As long as they are the same length (I assume knee length) I see no reason why not! If the men can do it, so can the women!! Just no booty shorts in the lab haha

Hmm, based on this comment for semi- formal I would say it’s too fancy. It’s more New Year’s Eve than corporate Christmas! I also work in tech with all male coworkers and it’s really up to your comfort level. I personally would feel uncomfortable in something showing cleavage at a work function but the Rockin The Dog Mom Aunt Life Flower T-Shirt and I love this dress itself is not risqué so I don’t think it would be scandalous to wear it, just that it’s worth rethinking if it will pull your focus from having fun because you’d be worried about what you’re wearing. That’s always hard. I’ve worn more revealing dresses tho and been fine but I also live in a big city in a progressive area so ymmv. I think it looks great. No too sexy. If you’re worried bring a little shawl or throw an oversized blazer over it and wear some bangles.
