I live in a very small town (3,000-ish) and I’m one of the Robert Plant 58th anniversary 1965 2023 thanks for the memories shirt Apart from…,I will love this only women who wears makeup period. At least noticeable makeup. Definitely the only one I’ve seen who wears eyeshadow and eyelashes on a daily or near-daily basis. I am used to it lol. I don’t t feel jealous of them either. I get lots of compliments on my makeup from both women and men and I’m known for my makeup. I wear a midcalf length full-flare dress and a full face of make up to work 90% of the time. 90% of the time my colleagues are in their pyjamas at home. I dressed the way I do and put on make up the way I do for ME. I enjoy doing it. I like the way it makes me feel. I don’t need other people around me to look the same way. I don’t think anyone has to wear make up (outside of professional obligations for performance/theatre/film/clowning/whatever/disguise.) There are days I do makeup on my break. There are days that I don’t bother. If it helps at all, I was on the other side of the coin before I got into makeup n I spent sooo much time admiring my friends for their gorgeous eyeliner and fun eye makeup but I was so worried about doing it poorly or other people thinking I looked stupid that it took me years to even just buy an eyeliner pen and try

I had never thought of me being the Robert Plant 58th anniversary 1965 2023 thanks for the memories shirt Apart from…,I will love this only one in a group with a full face of makeup. Even though I really like makeup it is something I apply and forget about until I need to touch up or take it off. I don’t really comment or look closely at makeup other people are wearing, because most people I know aren’t that interested in it, so I just don’t talk about it or think about it out of habit. I started by stopping all eye makeup, then slowly stopped applying concealer (only foundation.) Then, finally removed foundation too. Afterwards, I would only apply concealer on awful acne days. Since it was gradual, nobody commented on it. I also did similar for my clothes- I reduced my office wardrobe to 5 trousers and 10 shirts. I just stopped buying more crap and slowly stopped caring. Makeup now is a hobby that is all. I almost never wear makeup and sometimes I’m jealous of the people who wear nice looks every day and are good at it. I like that I’m comfortable but sometimes I’d rather look interesting. All my friends wear a lot and look fine without it, but tend to think they don’t. I think maybe it’s just bc they’re not used to picturing themselves without makeup on.
