Wait… Did the Robert Bortuzzo Canadian professional ice hockey player for the New York Islanders T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this publishers of 1984 think that they could make more money by licensing Wonder Woman 1984? Or, did DC and Warner Bros think that they could make more money by cross-promoting WW84 with Orwell? Most likely it’s someone trying to take advantage of the public domain who wasn’t paying attention when they were choosing a cover. You don’t just misspell names like that… The only time this can happen is if the name is transliterated from a different script or certain accents/umlauts are left out. Neither is the case here. Idk what’s going on here but if I was to put my tinfoil hat on I would say if you were hypothetically wanting to discredit the warning signs in that book this is exactly the kind of thing you would do.

Sometimes in other countries they’ll “pep up” the Robert Bortuzzo Canadian professional ice hockey player for the New York Islanders T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this advertising a bit to try to get people interested. Clearly they just linked this publication to the movie that was coming out. It’s like those homemade movie posters from Africa, like IIRC the one for Mrs. Doubtfire had Robin Williams murdering Pierce Brosnan on it because “happy drag comedy” was probably a hard sell. The publishing house responsible for this specializes in translating popular titles into Arabic…and also altering the content to adhere to religious and cultural norms.
