I drive a manual transmission. A lot (220,000 miles last 4 years). I also do a lot of peeking over to see why a particular driver is being oblivious. If someone is coming up behind me faster then I wanna go I move over let them by then go back. They have no clue that they’re in a passing lane. Just like driving with flashers on, they have no clue that flashers are only to be used by vehicles that are stopped. In Germany on the Autobahn they don’t go much for people that won’t get over and get the f*** out of the way they’ll start honking at you a good 2 miles away if you’re not getting the f*** over remember they can go as fast as they want and a lot of people travel at a hundred miles an hour on the Autobahn no time for any Street wardens to decided to set their own speed limit I usually find those people do that on purpose because they’re losing in life and they’re losing at work especially so they’re going to manage some facet of control of their life driving their car those are the ones I’d love to pull out of the car and just beat the holy hell out of that’s how I express my control punch somebody in the head they understand a lot more after that’s done

I always move over for faster cars coming up behind me I watched it get enforced once and i rolled in the joy of it for a solid week. it helped that the jackass was also holding up one of those “appears civilian cop car” cops in the left lane, This is a problem in pretty much all countries in the world, plus the District of Columbia and US territories, too… not just the 50 US states. If there’s someone behind me and obviously trying to go faster, I’ll let them by. There’s no reason to be a dick about it. But if I’m going 75 and traffic is going 60 and the left lane is open, I’ll be in that left lane I’ll refuse to move if I’m going 10-15 over trying to pass but traffic is heavy and someone is STILL on my ass. Even if there’s room between two cars for me to quickly slide over, nope. (But if it’s a bigger gap I’ll do it just to get them off my ass, or if I notice a line of cars on THEIR ass)
