I did the Ride the Hellfire Munson shirt moreover I will buy this math on this, actually. The 1999 receipt shows a hard-shelled taco costing $0.69. Adjusted for inflation to today’s price, that would put the cost at $1.19. The Taco Bell that this letter was delivered to is currently charging $1.39 (source: GF is the OP). The letter writer is whinging about 20 cents extra per taco that could conceivably be explained away due to production costs or corporate marketing. I remember buying a McDonald’s cheeseburger when I was a kid for $0.39 each ($0.29 for a hamburger). But I’m not stupid enough to expect the same price today haha. well I for one am still offering my sweet sweet handjobs at the same price I charged in the 90s. don’t know what this taco stand’s deal is.

Edit: I knew it!I never get the Ride the Hellfire Munson shirt moreover I will buy this tacos at taco bell, but I’m pretty sure they are under a dollar or like 1.25 tops. I get the burritos and can get 2-3 for cheap so idk what her problem is. Also I’m pretty sure the 69 cent tacos was like a day of the week special. After high school in the early 00s, we would hit taco bell up on Wednesday cause it was half price soft tacos. Think Sundays were the hard shell days I had one from 2009 but it faded….. gas was like 2.75 and I had 80¢ off a gallon…. Paid 1.95 and told my fiancé (now wife) that’s probably the cheapest we will see the rest of our lives. Nothing goes down really it may fluctuate but mostly on the upswing. Older people that somehow don’t trust online bank account managing fully and do their accounting in notebooks, taping receipts in them and whatnot.
