I used to travel to America a lot as a solo young adult traveller. I got questioned and bag searched all the Rich Men North Of Richmond American Flag Shirt But I will love this time, just came to accept it. Except the time my wife wore her scarf in a style reminiscent of a hijab, then we got all our bags gone through with a toothcomb and extra questions separately in siderooms. I continuously get stopped and frisked which I suspect is something to do with writing my MA dissertation on terrorism, though I can’t prove it I’ve been stopped before and questioned when I was 24 year old swf. They have profiles, patterns and then just random stops. Got asked about my job etc The only pleasant experience I’ve had at the U.K. border was when all the mouth breathing ukbf pissants were striking and rn were in control – proper nice, got a smile and laughed at the sour faced prick overseeing how easily and quickly border checks can be done. I mean, all power to ukbf for striking for better pay, maybe they could do it more often? When I was in my early 30s (early 2010s) I used to travel regularly to the UK from North America regularly. (Keeping it vague) On my 3rd trip in 18 months I was dropped off at the gatwick check-in desk by my dad (I am mixed race, my dad looks nothing like me). I was carrying a rucksack and a trumpet. I was stopped by security in Gatwick on this return trip. Had my passport taken away for 5 mins (I guess to be copied and swabbed). They didn’t ask me any questions other than “where are you going?” Two people took my passport away, three came back with it.

Few years back, 2019-2020, my friend and I were debating what to do for New Years (at 10am on NYE). We were debating if we should go out in Bournemouth or Bristol; the Rich Men North Of Richmond American Flag Shirt But I will love this hotel prices were insane! It turns out that it was cheaper to drive all the way to Düsseldorf and party there, driving back the following day. That is just what we did, got in the car and drove all the way to Dusseldorf, partying with randoms until the early hours of the morning! We only had a hotel for that night, so we slept until 11 am and drove back to the UK. The border agents were quite suspicious as who the hell drives all that way for just the evening? They questioned both of us for 15 minutes, about our jobs, etc. Years ago my dad used to travel from London to Columbia via The Netherlands and the US (Miami) out for 3 weeks, back for three weeks for his work. He never had a problem until London airspace was closed due to fog and he traveled home from The Netherlands via France to Southampton. One look at his passport and customs at Southampton decided he was involved in something dodgy and he was interviewed for hours, destructive search of his luggage etc. He was an executive with a multinational company at the time and they even contacted Companies House to verify his identity etc
