My apologies, this post triggered me. I have my issues, and I happen to be very good at employment “fit”. On line tests need to go away. They are bad for the Rey Mysterio Vs. Eddie Guerrero American professional wrestler T-Shirt and I love this candidate, and worse for the company. IQ shouldn’t be used for hiring at all, having a higher IQ level doesn’t mean you’re smarter than average or that your skillset will be any good at all It definitely means you’re more intelligent than average. By itself, it doesn’t mean you will be a better employee overall. No it doesn’t. Iq measures fluid intelligence not crystallized. Someone could score higher on an iq test and be considered “dumber” due to have less crystallized intelligence. A dude with an iq of 110 who has a phd in physics will be considered smarter than a dude who has no education even if that person has an iq of 120.

True IQ tests look at a participant’s ability to problem solve. It fails to take into account multiple intelligences, the Rey Mysterio Vs. Eddie Guerrero American professional wrestler T-Shirt and I love this theory that intelligence can be broken into several categories. For example, there is musical intelligence, language intelligence, spatial, mathematic, etc. An individual with high language intelligence may not perform the best on an IQ test but I bet there are plenty of ordinary work tasks they can do better than a mathematician who scored higher in an IQ test. It’s funny because they think they would pass it. Yet the percentage of the population that does actually have a higher IQ than 115 is very low. Way lower than 55%. And it’s actually the intelligent people who probably answered “No”
