Periods are longer than 24 hours. Not sure why I thought they were shorter. Guess I was never properly taught about them before my first relationship. Periods vary wildly from woman to woman. I’ve met some women who have light periods for like, 3 days once a month. I’ve met women who bleed heavily for 8 days every month. So my actual period isn’t bad – about 3-4 days. Minimal cramps. But like two weeks before it starts, I eat everything in sight, I’m mad, can’t sleep, my boobs hurt so bad that I can barely touch them, and my back is killing me. I’m in this state for about a week and then I have another week of freedom. Then my period! Then after my period I’m really horny until my boobs start to hurt again and it’s that cycle every month!
