I know I’ll be downvoted but I don’t understand current centrism, like when one side is literally trying to remove the Retro Supersonics Shawn Kemp Dunk shirt Besides,I will do this idea of trans people, banning books that don’t fit their agenda, trying to overturn elections, cripple public education, do nothing about mass shootings ,and make it as hard as possible to vote. The other side is what? More taxes and more social programs, and stronger background checks on guns? Even excluding all of that the main reason people hate on centrists is because of “centrists”, aka people who claim to be centrist but agree with like every right wing talking point, either because they’re embarrassed to be associated with the party, or they’re trying to spread “both sides bad” to prevent people from voting, as higher voter turnout is bad for one side (which that in itself should be seen as a red flag for one side).

I’m not saying the Retro Supersonics Shawn Kemp Dunk shirt Besides,I will do this Democrats are perfect, they have plenty of terrible flaws and I wish they were better, but at least currently they are less terrible than the other side. Centrism doesn’t really mean anything. People on either side see those not explicitly on their side as the enemy. Anyone that doesn’t think that way is typically labelled a centrist and/or a “spy” from the “enemy team”. I’ve been called a centrist, far right, and far left for so little as refusing to condemn people that disagreed with me. Don’t get me wrong, there are somewhat popular opinions in the country that should not be entertained on any level, but the antagonistic nature of politics we’ve built only entrenches those that share those beliefs and breed even worse opinions.
