Your comment has been removed because it is one or more of the Retro Kaiju Japanese Santa Is Coming To Town shirt Also,I will get this following: speculative, anecdotal, simplistic, generally unhelpful, and is: “A worker is entitled to a rest period of at least 32 consecutive hours each week.” our comment has been removed because it is one or more of the following: speculative, anecdotal, simplistic, generally unhelpful, and/or off-topic. Please review the following rules before commenting further: Automotive industry here, if our employer claims emergency status, they have the right to force up to 90 straight days of production, but only once per contract period(4 yrs) as was agreed to by the union and signed off on by its members. It comes down to your contract. At my shop they can do that but you get 1.5x pay up to 8 hrs past 40 and 2x pay after that. Check your collective bargaining agreement (not giving you access to it is probably no no in it too) and check state law. I know NY they can only do 6 days in a row. The company/union is required to make sure you get a copy of your contract. Somebody has a digital copy they can print for you and I would ask HR to do so. It won’t be a neat little booklet, but it will do the job.

Many provisions in the Retro Kaiju Japanese Santa Is Coming To Town shirt Also,I will get this ESA have clauses that say they apply unless another agreement has been reached between the employee and the employer. The “employee” in this case is the union as it is the bargaining agent making such an agreement. ESA requires them to provide you with 1 day off in a 7 day period and 48 consecutive hours in 2 weeks, and pay you overtime if you work on days off. They can’t make you work more than 48 hours in a week, and they have to pay overtime after 44 hours. The ESA is the minimum standard, your CA cannot give you less rights than it states, only better. Somebody’s union is dropping the ball here and needs a misrepresentation charge. Completely illegal! “Shutdown” means that they shut down but there is still government legislation to protect workers from overworking/burning out. OHS has definite policies to prevent this. They need continuous coverage they either divide manpower up to ensure it or bring it additional workers for the mandatory time off days. They can arrange this in shifts but this is definitely illegal.
