I just found out I am on a 90 day performance improvement plan. HR and management will be reviewing my performance weekly during my one on one for the Retired not my problem anymore cat shirt also I will do this first 30 days. If I pass whatever expectations they have by the end of the 30 days that we move on to the next 30 days. This repeats until we hit 90 days. Obviously, I don’t see this working out. The expectations set up on me are unrealistic, given the lack of on boarding and training that I had leading up to this point. I don’t think that I am going to get unemployment or severance from this company when they do decide to terminate me. My main concern is how not having any recommendation from my manager + being “fired” is going to affect my career moving forward.

The kicker is I’ve already spent thousands of dollars on a flight to Europe for my girlfriends best friends wedding where she is a bridesmaid. My manager knew about this months ago and I have reminded her since. This way I don’t technically “get fired” and then I can look for a new job when I get back from Europe in a week. 2. If it makes sense to let them fire me when I remind them that I’m going to be gone for 1/4 of the Retired not my problem anymore cat shirt also I will do this next 30-60 day PIP period. If I do this, I might able to stay on a bit longer to collect another paycheck but I will definitely be “terminated”. P.S. I am trying to wait until the end of the first 30 days to make a decision so I can keep my health insurance through July. Anybody else had a similar experience? What did you do? How did it affect your career?Make them fire you so you get unemployment. Second, get some references ready that is not your boss. Redo your resume and start looking for your new job. Congrats to the couple! Thanks for the advice. I’ve already messaged everyone on my team and asked for LinkedIn recommendations and made them aware I’m on a PIP. References that are NOT my manager that I worked with on a continual basis are going to be really difficult to find.
