She would get more of a Trixie or Katya type run on AS though. I’m fairly sure she entered AS6 as one of the fan favorites, and I really thought that she’d make it to the top 4 again in AS6. I don’t understand why production treated her so badly ? She made the right decision to leave instead of doing the lipsync smackdown.

Drag race is so oversaturated now that you really benefit from two seasons to get long-term traction. I think Anetra would come back. It seems like she’s had a really positive experience. So I am gonna guess that production favourites are Luxx and Sasha. But looks like fan favourite are Sasha and Anetra so things gonna change between Luxx and Anetra now. Yeah I think ru loves luxx so she got set up as a front runner (personally I get the impression that mama sees a bit of herself in there). I suspect production is going to pivot though, given how negative some of the reactions have been. It’s also the fact that being in the bottom 2 right at the end shows “vulnerability”. It’s very reminiscent of Adore for me (who production was very close to crowning over Bianca based on stories) with being loved by Ru and fans but still being in the bottom a lot. i think there’s more to production favourites than being placed in the top- they want to give different queens different storylines after all, and the “clawed her way into the top 4” storyline is particularly loved The times they’ve had Anetra in the bottom feel more like an intentional part of her storyline to make us root for her. On one hand, she’s obviously a star, but on the other she doesn’t create drama-based visibility for herself. So manufacturing the drama of teasing that she could go home is a way for the audience to bond.
