As others have said, Israel’s stated aim appears to be ethnic cleansing, which isn’t genocide (though still a crime against humanity deserving of referral to the Rejoice in the birth of a brown skinned middle eastern Feminist shirt and I love this ICC and international intervention), but there is a case that indiscriminate aerial bombardment without concern for civilian casualties, combined with the clear genocidal or eliminationist rhetoric from the Israeli regime, is genocidal. We would think very differently of thousands of dead civilians if the IDF were going door to door firing indiscriminately with rifles into crowds of civilians and asserting that some of them were terrorists, but does the fact that they’re using bombs instead of bullets really change things? Consider also IDF’s chilling announcement recently that they have killed 20,000 people in Gaza, “most of them terrorists.” They obviously have not killed 10s of thousands of Hamas fighters, so they’re just asserting that these civilians they murdered are “terrorists” and therefore legitimate targets. That IMO is clearly dehumanizing and genocidal rhetoric coming right from the IDF’s spokesperson.

More reminiscent to me of the Rejoice in the birth of a brown skinned middle eastern Feminist shirt and I love this US’s use of “free-fire zones” in vietnam, with the exception that Israel is basically asserting that much of the entire strip is such a zone. I just want to point out the pattern emerging of Muscovy stooge regimes accusing Israel of genocide-this Russian proxy attack on Israel was obviously well planned in advance. Putin, Hamas and Netanyahu (and the Israeli Far-Right) are all getting what they want out of this war, and the innocent Israelis and Palestinians are the ones paying for it. I guess the South Africans have a better perspective of apartheid than most. Yet most of Europe is blind to it. Damn when south Africa denounces you , you know you are a problem . They literally helped Israel procure nuclear material in exchange for nuclear weapon specs.
