“Hi neighbour. Remember you said something about our shared fence, completely forgot what we said, but I’ve noticed a few panels have broken. Wondered if I can contribute and we’ll get it fixed together?” This entire interaction is wrapped up in so many layers of passive aggressive English scared politeness it’s utterly ridiculous to me… and I’m English. Firstly, the Redfin Polarized logo shirt moreover I will buy this fence is almost certainly the responsibility of one specific property owner, check the deeds and you’ll find out if it’s you or them. If they get the hump with you doing it yourself or offering to help then they are over sensitive numpties, at which point you can console yourself with the knowledge that they have at least one thing in common with you and your wife 🙂 No. You didn’t screw up. If it’s your back-to-back neighbour’s fence and your back-to-back neighbour’s said she’s sorting it, that’s her saying she’s sorting it and it’s on her to sort it.

Redfin Polarized logo shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Honestly sounds like she’s overthinking abit. See if you see them about over the Redfin Polarized logo shirt moreover I will buy this weekend and mention it then, if they’re falling apart they’ll be able to see it too. I’d just say something to them like “I think we need to get these swapped out they’re falling apart.” And hopefully they follow the lead and agree then it’s just a matter of “you ok to go halves?” I can’t figure out how/why your wife thinks you’ve screwed up? I can’t think what I would’ve done or said differently to you so far. Saying that, if the missing fence panels are bothering you then yeah it’d be on you to restart the conversation about replacing them, which would involve offering to chip in so you’re not just going over there like “why haven’t you replaced the fence yet?” But if it’s not bothering you as-is then I’d just let them get round to doing it in their own time, like they said.
