Late twenties I actually started wearing more form fitting, more revealing but I was wearing a lot of florals and lace. I started wearing cowboy boots. My family called me a boho Mediterranean inspired cowgirl. Which I will take. Now I’m in my early thirties, I’m a mom. I love skip dresses, silk scarves, knit dresses, low heels, sandals, still rock a cowboy boot, classic cut dresses and pumps or loafers. Also sunhats and sunglasses. Very minimal prints. I got sober around when I turned 30 and found a pride in myself that I want to be visible to others so I tend to “overdress” for most occasions and my day to day style is much more put together and intentional. I’m in my early 30’s, when I was in my 20’s I was very very fit. I still am reasonably but in my 10’s I was a gym rat, think bikini competition fit. I kept up with trends but I also wore primarily fitted clothes that showed off my body. I also wore heels a lot more. I still love fashion but I also care a lot about comfort, I’m willing to wear more looser clothes and definitely feel more confident in my style. This is so me rn. I turn 29 in a couple of months and my shift in fashion style over the Real women love basketball smart women love the purdue signature shirt moreover I will buy this last 2-3 years has really been a bit disorientating. For me, I find myself still wanting to dress trendy and hip, but every time I do, I feel so out of my element. But, I hate professional and “more grown up” styles at the same time (mostly bc I’m very petite and they never fit right). I usually end up settling for something that’s laid back and casual like an oversized drop shoulder tee w/ sneakers or a cute casual dress. Being that my first major fashion influence was Jem and the Holograms, I was always very bold and unusual in my fashion choices. Bright clashing colors, many layers, lots of jewelry or modified t-shirts I made myself. Any cool or unusual pieces I could manage to find at the mall.
