My 6 year old student was not allowed to cry at home after her mother’s death. Not allowed to talk about her either, among other things. I was a second year, 23 year old teacher and the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this child told me every day that she wanted to go home with me so I could be her mother. It nearly broke me. I do before care. Basically an hour before teachers have to be there so the kids can come in early. I had a girl who I knew was a walker come in. It was one of the coldest days of the year. I asked why she’d walked to school when it had rained last night and it was freezing. She said “You know us black folks don’t like their kids, Ms. X” She seemed surprised when I teared up a little bit. The way she said it so calmly was one of the saddest things I’ve heard. Early childhood educator here! I have had children (4-5 years old) tell me they wished I was their “Mommy “. I was heartbroken and assured them that their mommy loved them very much! I am a mom. At that time my younger child was their age. I would be devastated if my children wanted someone else as their mom

Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt: Unleash Your Inner Fighter

I volunteer in a mentoring program with kindergartners. I’ve been doing this for a few years, so imaginative stories aren’t that unusual coming from 5-6 year olds. Disturbing: Reading a book about a squirrel, different kid says his dad shoots squirrels. Sometimes, he puts out nuts so they get close. There’s lots of blood and guts. I’m a guy and a teenage girl said in fluent Spanish: “Hey, wanna come back to my place and eat me? Or perhaps you rather I eat you?” That happened during my internship and I never went back to teaching. Just the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this sheer amount of potential sexual harassment I would get every single day made me have a panic attack. I would constantly imagine losing my teaching job, something I went to college for, being ripped away because someone didn’t like their grade and could simply say I did something inappropriate.
Had a 2nd grader come in looking wiped out. When I asked him how he’s doing he said that he was tired because he was up all night making sure mom was breathing. Turns out mom did a little too much H. Not only that but he would frequently come in with matted hair and he’d always want extra snacks along with his lunch. I can only imagine how bad his home situation was. When I was student teaching, I asked a first grader how was their weekend and he casually told me that his uncle got locked up for murder. I had a 3rd grader that was lazy so I asked him what was he going to do when he got older to take care of himself and he told me he was going to find a woman, move in her house and sleep all day. My first few months of teaching and I got the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this usual lecture about calling home over a behaviour. Kid got beat. For the next 20 years I got in shit because I rarely called home preferring the school to deal with issues first.

Worked at an afterschool program which offered free services to any kids living at the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this homeless shelter next door. Was talking to a group of middle schoolers about things we found gross and I mentioned sharing a toothbrush. One girl who lived at the shelter immediately stated matter of factly that she shared a toothbrush with her parent and 2 younger siblings. Shut my mouth real quick. Did not realize just how privileged I was in life until that moment. That they were scared because their dad and stepmom crossed the border back to Mexico to bring back one of the stepsisters illegally and they had been gone for far longer than they were supposed to. The student lived without their parents and with their jobless/student 16 year old older sister for like a week or two weeks until the dad came back.
I was working in a primary grade SPED class, and a second grader told me, and this is a direct quote because I will never forget it as long as I live, “My mom’s boyfriend puts me in the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this dumpster by our apartment so I can get dinner for my sister.” He was later removed from the home and sent to live with his grandpa. I asked a student why she didn’t do her homework and she genuinely answered, “well how am I supposed to do my homework when my mom and dad are fighting?” I remember when a student said to me that jail would be better than where they are now, because jail meant a roof over your head, 3 meals a day, and an actual bed to sleep on. When i was a para, one of my kiddos said, “At least my dad tells me he loves me. My mom told me she didnt love and she didnt want me.” This was after the courts were returning the brothers to mom’s care after being in foster for a while. She picked up the younger brother, but left my student in foster, but not before this little verbal remembrance.
When I was a student teacher I was following the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this line into the building. I asked a girl (4th grade) how her weekend was. She replied “my dad tried to have sex with me and beat up my mom for stopping him.” It was my second day and I immediately went to the school social worker. That girl never went home again. A few years back I had a kid who was open about how his dad was an alcoholic who was super irresponsible. Explained that he chose to live with Dad instead of Mom because parents were divorced, and Mom married a guy who already had another older son. That step-brother broke the jaw of the kid I taught when he was 10 and he had to have his face wired shut for weeks. Mom apparently stood by, watched it all happened, and said & did nothing. So he chose to live with alcoholic Dad because at least he wasn’t tolerant of violent abuse. Was pretty fucking bleak.
So many to list, but this one resulted in a call to CPS. A girl in my 4th grade class was often dirty, but then she started sleeping a lot in class. Always just exhausted. She told me she was on night feeding duty for her newborn baby sister and then day feeding duty for their illegal puppy mill they were running out of their backyard. She was also responsible for cleaning all the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this cages. IOW, she worked non-stop. 9 years old. I had a student who was a high school sophomore. She was very pretty and looked much older than 15. She stopped coming to school one day; come to find out her mother would take her into the city to score heroin. The mother didn’t have enough money to buy it, so she would let the drug dealers rape her daughter to get some.
I had another sophomore girl crying in the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this bathroom one day. Her mom’s ex-boyfriend was getting out of prison that day, and she was scared because he said that when he got out he would kill her whole family. She was also responsible for caring for her younger siblings because her mom would just leave for hours and not say where she was going. Sped student who would have emotional breakdowns where his echolalia would become more prominent “FUCK YOU YOU STUPID BITCH I HATE THIS FAMILY.” the things this poor boy would hear at home that were then repeated in front of his whole class…. “Aad der was dis black gun. And mommy was.. and dat gun,.it was black. Mommy got hurt. Cops got out the bad guys.” “Did YOU see the cops?” “Yeah. I saw de cops and mommy saw da cops.” -3 year old in head start “She keeps hitting herself.” – One student being concerned about their self harming friend while the rest of her “friends” were laughing and playing and basically ignoring the fact that this 12 year old was suicidal. IDK which hurt my heart worse.
“I was left in a house alone for a month.” “Does your school counselor or teacher know about this?” “No.” -Subbed for a 4th grade class for ONE day, and a student got freaked out at recess while playing 4 corners. “Daddy said he and mommy cant take me home and Im staying with pawpaw because I jumped on the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this bed after they told me not to.”- 5 year old VPK. “I’m glad my dad died, so now I can watch TV at night”. Pre-K kid lost his father to cancer and I assume mom had a hell of a lot of other things to care about besides her kid watching TV late at night. It was a glimpse into something truly fucked up that I would never wish on another human being. I was a guidance counselor for 35 years. I could write a book on the horror stories that kids told me. Hunger, beatings, s/a, trafficking. I actually had a kid tell me his mother had a dead body in the freezer at their home! Somebody had tipped off the police and the mother had been arrested and the kid was at the time in foster care. It was true, I found the newspaper article. I spent the first two years of my job doing reports to Child Protective Services.
I teach kindergarten. One of my girls told me on Friday she missed her dad, but he didn’t come last weekend because “he was at the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this club, mommy is really mad at him” Just makes me sad for them. Not said exactly, but… My first year teaching I was in a district with a lot of new immigrants. One of my girls had just arrived from Mexico and knew no English, and wasn’t literate in Spanish due to not attending school there. She was smaller and quieter than other kids, so she didn’t really have any friends either. Our school had free breakfast/lunch for everyone during to our area’s general poverty, so she ate at school with everyone else and it wasn’t super obvious that her family was struggling at home. It wasn’t until another student told me that her locker was leaking into his locker that we realized. She had been saving her lunch milks (and other kids’ from the share table) in her locker. She explained to one of my other Hispanic students (who translated for me) that she took them home so her little brother could have milk to drink – they didn’t have enough food to eat and he was the only one who didn’t get a school lunch, so he was always hungry. After that we made sure she always got a food bag over the weekend, and I would keep the nonperishable stuff from the breakfast cart to send home with her and other late bus kids. When COVID happened myself and another teacher dropped off groceries on the porch every week.
i had a kid who got kicked out of home multiple times and brought a bag with all her earthly belongings to my class – year 10. she was an 80s+ average kid, super sweet. she fell on an excursion to an ice skating rink, and really fucked up her wrist – it looked twisted. a week later, no xray had been done, it was looking more and more blue and swollen and twisted so i took her down to the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this office to call her mum – her mum hung up when she heard which kid it was for. i ended up making a report, because withholding of medical care in a country with universal healthcare is abuse, and because the school hadn’t okayed it i got screamed at by my assistant principal. she was friends with the mother. Teachers are referring housing insecure students to their district McKinney-Vento liaison, correct? This resource helps the entire family with establishing secure affordable housing, some food assistance, and referrals to resources for needed items and services at no cost to the families.
I had a very wealthy student tell me he’d give back all the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this cars and luxury gifts if he could just have some of his dad’s time. I immediately gave him a hug. At the end of the day, assuming you reported it, there’s a chance that you helped that kid. Small chance, but its rare that abuse like this is isolated to this so maybe getting told this is better in the long run.
A friend of a friend worked in shipping and when they were waiting to transit the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this Suez Canal they bought a frozen half of a cow, and had a big BBQ for the 40 odd guys on the ship. The cook was throwing out the packaging and discovered that the cow was killed and frozen in 1953. It was older than anyone on the ship. This was in the late 90’s from what I remember. Turns out it tastes terrible, just like (wait for it), meat that has been left in the freezer too long. That’s an actual description given. See I can’t stand the freezerburn of an Eggo that’s been left opened for a week in the freezer, this makes me want to yack.
…A study of DNA extracted from the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this leg bones of extinct moa birds in New Zealand found that the half-life of DNA is 521 years. So every 1,000 years, 75 per cent of the genetic information is lost. After 6.8 million years, every single base pair is gone. Woolly Mammoth meat sounds like something extremely rich people would wanna try and eat as an expensive rare delicacy hat sausage is fry!! I love how she kept the chicken hat. When she was growing tentacles it was one of the things she packed to move to the sewers. I wouldn’t believe any of you in this comment thread if you said you were Gen Z. Pauly shore references age us every time Not that long. Meat still decomposes in a freezer just at a slower rate. The texture changes noticeably after 8-9 months According to USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service Guidelines, when you properly store food, including meat, at 0 degrees Fahrenheit, it remains safe to consume indefinitely. Depends on how it is frozen. If you freeze meats in liquid nitrogen, you won’t lose quality for many years (it will just cost you a ton in electricity bills).
liquid nitrogen dewars cost nothing in electricity bills. However, they cost a fair bit in liquid nitrogen bills also, why WOULD anyone keep it for so long, a deep freezer is not cheat to run and usually every freezer have lack of space so they try to consume old stuff as fast they can. There are warehouses where the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this entire warehouse is chilled below zero (Fahrenheit) and has been for decades. (given the bulk of cold things in them, it would take days without power for them to thaw) I saw some pictures from inside one that was being decommissioned after having been in use since the 50s, and there were shots of workers finding packages of food from the 60s that had been absorbed by the ice that grew up along the walls.
Things can get lost in big warehouses. Some big warehouses are also giant freezers. A pallet of meat getting pushed aside and left for years is believable, particularly since the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this vendor who owns the meat is going to avoid shipping it to good customers after it’s been in storage for a while, but it still has value, so they don’t want to trash it. I’m not positive this story is true, but I wouldn’t call BS on it. Yeah I work in industrial food facilities every day and this is very believable, if they don’t properly rotate pallets it can happen Also these places hire low wage workers and keep costs down, which means most people don’t give a shit. Even if inventory is done, it’s done half assed. And management sure as shit isn’t going to do the work themselves Probably. My father was in the Navy around 1969-1973 and recalls loading sides of beef onto his ship that were packaged in 1944. I had some terrible food in the Army, but I never saw food that was older than me.
Ah yes you never saw that it was old…. You sure you never tasted somethign with a hint preindustrial revolution? After all the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this years, wouldn’t the sublimation of “freezer burn” ruin the meat, if not make it just riddled with ice “potholes”? It might get a layer of ice on it that helps with that, plus it would only be the skin/top layers of fat that’s getting dried out on a whole frozen animal, which is usually removed during subsequent butchery anyway. edit: It probably wouldn’t be good though after 40+ years, but equally I’m not sure that it would be actually ruined. Probably just a bit tough, if that. Smaller cuts of meat are dry-aged for very long amounts of time in some cases and they end up still being juicy and tender, and a whole carcass is much more resistant to drying out because of the relatively low surface area to mass.
I’ve heard that it’s quite common for international meat import/export to have deep freeze facilities that sometimes keep stuff on ice for sometimes years at a time before it gets shipped to destination for packaging and date labelling as a means of balancing supply and demand for price regulation. Maybe it was NZ lamb I read about for this. I think if it’s done in a certified way it’s totally fine. If the Re signed 11 time All Star James Harden signature shirt in contrast I will get this freezer was kept constantly under 0F, sublimation would never happen. That “if” carries a lot of weight. From personal experience, meat in my kitchen fridge’s freezer (that I can’t set lower than -2 without ice forming around the fan) will get freezer burn after a few months. And storing bread more than a week is just out of the question. By contrast, my garage chest freezer that sits around -10F (at the top) still has a package or two of bulk chicken thighs from 2020 in the bottom and they come out just like the day they went in.
