I’m guessing your employer is a smaller business, by which I mean they aren’t a large company like Canadian tire, amazon or Walmart, in that they don’t have multiple locations or department types of other locations that do either the Randy Watson Sexual Chocolate Coming To America Movie Shirt Also,I will get this same work as the facility where you work or department services for the place you are employed, that facilitate infrastructure for the primary business that is under one umbrella Corporation? I’m sorry, but you don’t have access to the union book or contract? Because they don’t have any left? This sounds like a scam. Do you really have a union, or is it just three of the company managers in a trenchcoat taking your money and calling it “union dues”? As a labour lawyer, who has been involved in cases involving some very active unions, I can assure you that individual workers can be completely oblivious to the Randy Watson Sexual Chocolate Coming To America Movie Shirt Also,I will get this union and its protections no matter how much the union tries to be accessible. I’ve also seen union reps beg someone who is being screwed over to file a grievance, and the worker refused (that particular collective agreement required the affected worker to sign the grievance). Sometimes the refusal is based on a fear of subtle reprisal. Sometimes its based on anti-union animus. Sometimes its based on faith in whatever bullshit management is peddling. Not necessarily the person. If the workplace does not make the union accessible, it’s on the workplace. Union related info should be posted, you should be informed upon first few days of hire who the union reps are, and what your union is. OP- do you have an Union Membership card with your workplace, if so look at that and it should give you information on who to contact. You should be, but you may not be. I got not one bit of training, the union was worthless, we had mandatory overtime for THREE years. 6 days a week, minimum 15 hours a week overtime. Never got a union card. All we had was a very shady business agent who dressed like he ran a different kind of business, down to the bling everything. Now there’s some decent folks in there but it was a hellscape for years.
