Guys that think this way are uneducated in sexual education, or dimwits. As a man, i cannot dictate what happens to a womans body, plain and simply. If my wife gets pregnant and she doesn’t wanna carry it but i do, whats gonna happen is, whatever she wants to do, and my job is to enable and support the Rainbow Sunflower Cat Love Is Love Lgbt Gay Lesbian Pride T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this fuck out of her and make her feel good about picking whatever outcome. God, i get so frustrated when i hear other guys say this shit. Its. Why i really hope that we as people figure out how to get men pregnant, so when some dumbass says shit like that, i can tell him ” well why dont you get pregnant and get it over with” Honey, he’s telling you that you don’t matter nearly as much as a zygote. He’s telling you that it’s fine for your life to be irrevocably changed just because you decided to have sex with him. He’s telling you that the rights of a fertilized egg trump yours. Why are you okay being with someone that thinks that your rights, your personhood, and your life are less important than those of a small collection of cells that wouldn’t survive on their own? Why are your rights less important than his? After all, no one is demanding that he undergo any significant physical or mental or life changes just because he had sex. Is he willing to have a (reversible) vasectomy so that he doesn’t accidentally impregnate anyone until he means to?

Your reaction is reasonable, and understandable, OP – and you would be completely justified in ducking out of this due to irreconcilable differences – you and he disagree on your personhood, after all. There is no way I could stay with someone who held me and my body in such little regard. He showed you who he is, now what are you going to do about it? I’m sorry this happened, but it’s SO much better to know this now than down the Rainbow Sunflower Cat Love Is Love Lgbt Gay Lesbian Pride T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this line. That was absolutely a threat. I have heard men make “jokes” or “Exaggerations” like this before, and many of them have had massive red flags for violence issues if the right button gets pushed. He might be really nice NOW that things are easy peasy, but if you got sick, if you got pregnant, if you had serious difficulties (or if he did) what would happen then? I’d get out now. That is such a massive red flag, it’s not even funny. I honestly dont understand how this was ever even a question or issue. Someone gets pregnant and they cant keep the baby they get to decide what to do including abortion. Period. Nothing to argue or discuss. No one else’s business at all…
