I’d be concerned from a health and safety standpoint. Working each day without a day off could lead to mental fatigue then an industrial accident. …but don’t have access to a union book/our contract as every time I ask for a copy they say they have none left. THIS is seriously not cool for an employer to continually deny access to the Queerdo Weirdo Queer shirt and I will buy this agree’d CBA. Did your Employer ever give you a copy of the CBA ? (By inference, it means your Employer does not have a copy for Themselves to look at.) I’ve been asking every couple days since I was hired last June. First they didn’t have any because they were about to negotiate in October. Now they don’t have any because they signed a new contract in October and now have to reprint the contract to handout….which they still haven’t.

Agree’d. By-pass the Queerdo Weirdo Queer shirt and I will buy this shop steward and contact the Area Rep. (I would also ask how to become the steward, because almost 8mo is Lazyness not “waiting for a printer”, but thats just me) This is legal under the ESA. Employees must have 24 consecutive hours free of work for each week, or 48 hours in two weeks, but exceptional circumstances can override this. Exceptional circumstances include major unforeseen repairs (but not scheduled maintenance), or breakdowns that significantly impact continuous operations. However, check your collective agreement and/or contact your union rep. Your collective agreement can provide a greater benefit than the ESA, but not less. This is covered under Ontario ESA rules
