I have applied to over 300 jobs over the Quebec Capitales Champions De La Ligue Frontiere 2023 Logo shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this past 6 months or so. 3 “call backs” which were automated phone interviews. Garbage interview process honestly This is strange because I placed ads for a job today and we got 1 person replying and nobody else. And that person hadn’t read the ad properly so didn’t actually want the job Yes, it is that bad. I went through the Great Recession and that job market was terrible enough. This one is worse. I was having a hard time finding a job. The only reason I have my current position is because my parents’ neighbor offered me this job. It really depends on your industry, role, and level. I’m a senior-level individual contributor in a niche subfield within a specific industry and there are more jobs than ever for me right now (i.e., instead of 2-3 a month locally, I’m seeing 3-4 a week). At the same time, there are definitely not as many entry-level jobs or as many jobs in my broader field. My suspicion is that with the older generation retiring, more opportunities are opening up for mid-senior level and above, but the entry level is still so saturated with recent grads now having to compete against laid off employees who have actual experience. Personally, I never apply through Indeed or LinkedIn. I find the job postings there but then go to the company’s actual career site to 1) verify that the job is still posted and 2) apply directly. I don’t know if it makes a difference but I wonder if things might come over weirdly from the application portals while applying on their own site means that there’s no data transfer needed. It’s a pain in terms of having to create an account for every employer (ugh, why) but seems to work better for me at least. Honestly, I don’t think indeed is that great. I found more success in a job board that was specifically geared toward the industry I’m in (Retirement). Maybe you could also try looking at some other (reputable) sites to help.
