Cmon mate, lets not pretend like there’s no context around women being mocked or devalued for not being shagable. Shit I can see maybe thinking there was nothing wrong if you’re looking at it purely devoid of social context but ignoring the Purple Up For Military Kids Month Child Vintage T-Shirt in contrast I will get this way women have been traditionally viewed and treated doesn’t remove the context. And do you think that someone publicly joking about it, who is also a Member of Parliament and a leader of a political party, is fitting behaviour? You honestly cannot see the problem with joking about the “would one want to have an affair” value of a specific woman? Putting aside the crassness of DS for making such a comment about Hekia Parata, I would actually agree that “no one would have an affair with Hekia Parata”, on the grounds that her husband, Wira Gardiner saw active service in Viet Nam, had an MA in War Studies from the UK and was the highest ranked Maori officer in the NZ army when he retired as a Lt Colonel.

You would have to be pretty stupid to have an affair with the Purple Up For Military Kids Month Child Vintage T-Shirt in contrast I will get this wife of a man of Wira Gardiner’s background…and even being a PM (especially one as wimpy as John Key) would likely not save you from a fate worse than death…. I heard him speak once at an education event, with some hundreds of mostly white middle class peeps in the audience. After 10 seconds you could have heard a pin drop in the room and it remained like that for 20 mins. He had more gravitas/presence/mana etc than 99.9% of any MP on either side of the House. Wait, so the main factor in deciding whether to have an affair with a married woman is the toughness of her husband? Isn’t that rather an antiquated view of women’s agency? While I don’t particularly ever agree with any thing that this egg has ever come out with politically – and to be blunt I reckon he’s around a bout as thick as muck himself.
