Your mother is right. You already have children. This guy sounds like he’s less helpful than your average 8 year old. If you don’t want to be a bang mommy, find a grown up who knows how to adult. I can’t cook to save my life, but I’m a good husband and father, homeschool my on-the-spectrum kid and help keep the Pure Shores Mexico Classic T-Shirt But I will love this house clean and in order. But your mileage may vary, I guess… This post makes me appreciate my husband. He still leaves clothes on the floor, but at least he can cook and wash dishes. I don’t think you’re in the wrong. He should have asked for help and at least cleaned up the mess he made. Men not being able to take care of their basic needs is just absurd and should not be tolerated. It’s their choice to be that way, and they assume you should do that for them. They only get away with it bc some women allow it, but that needs to end.

Pure Shores Mexico Classic T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Reading the Pure Shores Mexico Classic T-Shirt But I will love this title I was ready to assume you were the asshole but I was wrong, I can’t believe there are guys really out there like this I learned to make simple fried and scrambled eggs when I was in elementary school. Cooking is not hard, I don’t care what anyone says, if a person can put on pants then they can cook. This ex of yours was using weaponized incompetence, he doesn’t want to cook, he doesn’t want to do any chores, he wants you to handle the physical and mental load of the household and screwing up a simple recipe was his way of ensuring you never asked him that again. You did the right thing dumping him. So what if you shamed him? He SHOULD be ashamed! This is like an adult unable to go to the store and buy groceries, or can’t take a pet to the vet, or can’t book a hotel. Its easy enough for anyone to do and being unable to do it is a huge red flag.
