The average annual cost of single-person healthcare insurance in the Purdue Boiler Basketball Shirt moreover I love this US is $7911 per year; for family coverage it’s $22,463 (source). Per month that’s $659 and $1872 respectively. Assume that the family coverage option is being paid for by two earning adults and that becomes $936 per salary. So, the average US citizen is paying between 117% and 166% of the highest amount paid by all but the very richest UK citizens. If you look at it as percentage of income: Average US salary is around $57,200 per year, so using the average healthcare costs above, that’s… 13.8% for single-person coverage, or 16.3% for family coverage shared between two earners on average salaries. (For reference, the average UK salary at the same time period was £32,350.) So, the best case scenario is that in real terms, the US system is nearly twice as expensive in real terms (13.8% vs the “most expensive” UK scenario of 7.5%).

PR campaigns that serve the Purdue Boiler Basketball Shirt moreover I love this self esteem of few. Usually a pat on the back for healthcare workers instead of proper wages + hours The NHS is mainly (around 80%) funded by general taxation, about 18% from national insurance and 2% by patient charges (car parking, some drugs). I should add that doesn’t cover the entire bill – the UK also runs a similar deficit of the USA – 3.8% of GDP and healthcare is the biggest single area of government spending (about 20% of the budget). NHS is healthcare SERVICE.. not insurance.. so it is funded 100% by tax. Single payer national healtchcare insurance on the other hand exist in south korea. All residents have to pay monthly fee based on their income(in most cases employers pay it directly) and the part of fund is also subsidized by tax.
