My son was drummer in a death metal band in the Pumpkin squad shirt and by the same token and early 2000’s. I know this because they practiced in my garage and I could hear them all the way in the bedroom, on the other side of the wall. Without any band info or anything at all to go on, this could very well be some good old fashioned karma farming. Not skate punk. Wrong hair styles, wrong cymbals, bassist strap is wrong. I would guess it’s some kind of local blues rock thing. Interesting headstock on the tele, that’s a kind of post lawsuit era design choice. I would guess at 87 ish based on the jeans, hair and instruments. Did you ever go see a Skate Punk band live? That for sure looks possibly like a circa 1986 OC crowd(or southern cali). “Punk” does not mean every one has a mohawk and a spiked jacket on. I’ve been in the scene since 1985 and never once looked like that.

Pumpkin squad shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Also depends on what Skate Punk band you are speaking of. They all looked different. Look some photos of early 80s Black Flag for example. And I have never once seen a blues band jumping in the Pumpkin squad shirt and by the same token and air and such like that. In fact, if its one thing this band for sure does not resemble, its a blues band. A strap is a strap. And there isnt even a bass pictured, ffs. So i wouldnt put too much weight in what that fool says.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
