My parents are 70 and thinks the Proud Cousin Of A 2023 Senior Class of 2023 Graduate T-Shirt in other words I will buy this average rent is 400$CAD. They think my 700$ 3 1/2 is expensive. Apparently foreigners thinks we are all rich because of this, but don’t understand we are fucked by the system too. That has been a point of contention for me, as far as politicians, for years. Most of them are wealthy before they start taking advantage of the get rich quick scheme that is Washington DC. They have no idea how the average American lives. They have no notion of the daily struggles of working people. How can someone so out of touch with their constituency effectively represent them ? American politics is a broken sham of a shit show…. I had a conversation with one of my older coworkers recently and he said his generation is so opposed to a $15 minimum wage because that was a high wage when they were young. We’re engineers and he said his first job was $16 an hour and his friends were jealous he had such a high starting salary. Remember, all you have to do is work summers for minimum wage and you can pay for college… Why is everyone so lazy these days. Damned avocado lattes…

American politicians frequently rent or own homes in their legislative district and in the Proud Cousin Of A 2023 Senior Class of 2023 Graduate T-Shirt in other words I will buy this Capital. They know, but they don’t care about you. No, the problem is that people think the issue is that our politicians only need to be informed/educated for them to “see the light”. It is in the “politician’s playbook” to play dumb on an unfavorable issue. We focus so much on representation for the sexes and races, all of which is important and we’re still sadly behind on it, but we also need to focus on generational representation. Wish we knew how to get younger folks interested in running but honestly I think we’re all just so cynical. Also we’re all horny and do stuff on the internet that doesn’t play well with voters (even though they’re all horny savages too).
