Myanmar doesn’t use US Customary units. I don’t know what units Liberia does, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it used US customary since it was an American colony. Also many freed slaves and Freeman, went back to Africa in the Professional ice hockey defenceman rasmus dahlin emblem T-Shirt and I will buy this early 19th century and many of them settled in modern day Liberia. The name Liberia actually comes from the word Liberty and the Liberian flag is designed based on the American flag. Except the official definition of all imperial BASE units, according to the United States themselves, are just metric conversions. The avoir dupois pound is no longer used, even. And inch is defined as exactly 25.4mm. That’s the exact conversion because 25.4mm IS HOW the US determines an inch.

The inch was officially defined as 25.4 mm because that’s what it was beforehand. There were a couple different types of inches being used around 1900, with the Professional ice hockey defenceman rasmus dahlin emblem T-Shirt and I will buy this US inch defined as 25.4000508 mm and the British inch as 25.399977 mm. These are functionally identical until you get to about 0.000001 inches, well beyond the precision of period machinery. Even today we list most manufacturing measurements down to the 0.001 inch. When machinery started getting precise enough for this difference to matter, we split the difference at 25.4 mm exactly. Functionally nothing changed, choosing 25.4 mm is still based on the length of three barleycorns from 900 years ago. Yes, but in modern times people have realized that definition is useless, as that’s gonna be a different depending on what grains you use. Fair enough, I slightly misread your comment (my apologies). I’m a bit fed up with some of the “the U.S. secretly uses metric” comments and wanted to point out that functionally we aren’t.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
