Alternative arguments are not going to change the Pro Choice 4th of July – Stars Stripes Reproductive Rights T-Shirt it is in the first place but outcome. The only thing that can change this is if the Supreme Court overrules a prior decision or through legislation. Legislation is where we need to go. And frankly, that’s what we should’ve done a long time ago rather than relying on supreme court precedent. I mean, this decision overturns the argument that abortion should be legal based on a right to privacy, which hasn’t historically existed and is an implied right. Why would an argument based on a different section of the constitution not be viable, other than the court is ruling based on the outcome they want and not the legal argument being made? No. The only recourse is to vote over many many years to elect enough pro abortion officials that then in turn nominate SC judges as current ones retire/die that will reaffirm abortion rights. That’s basically what the republican party has been working on and it has taken 50 years to do it. It’s the Dems turn to start this process. I hope it doesn’t take 50 years to reverse.

Forgive the Pro Choice 4th of July – Stars Stripes Reproductive Rights T-Shirt it is in the first place but football analogy, but this is rather like blaming the goalkeeper when the opposing team score a goal. The strikers, midfield and defence all failed before it got to the goalie. In order to make something a constitutional right doesn’t it require congress and the states to pass a constitutional amendment? But no, that is too difficult because Americans can’t agree on anything, while claiming their way of government is best of all. So instead you bash judges for the failures of politicians to actually bring in a law/amendment which judges can then rule upon. It’s hard to understate how bad this decision is. Any conservative who claims that they are concerned about legislating from the bench, should be up in arms.
