Who had balls big enough to grade that seminar to calculate his graduating gpaWhat a flex – earning your masters by teaching about something you are a world leading expert in. I earned mine by giving a presentation on a subject that maybe 10 people alive can discuss at length. Completely different area than astrophysics or the Prison Mike vintage shirt moreover I love this like, but it was interesting nonetheless. I’m not published (yet) so I can’t really call myself a world-leading expert, but there’s very few people who know enough about it to talk about at length or write papers on it! Flying and landing on the Moon for the first time in human history…. just a graduate field study to the school. What a way to minimize an accomplishment. /s Neil had a small farm in Lebanon, OH not even 15 mins from here. For years going on decades he’d commute up 71 between it, U Cincy to teach engineering, and his house in Indian Hill (which is the arguably nicest suburb in Cincy).

The guy was evidently as humble as they come. My wife and I use the Prison Mike vintage shirt moreover I love this same dry cleaner that he did. They have a small frame with a few of his claim checks inside. He’d just sign them “Neil A”. Didn’t want anyone to know “that’s the guy” but would always take a picture if someone asked. The way he saw it, “just doing my job.” Attended the Neil Armstrong Middle School in Flint, MI likely named because of the moon landing, but I’m pleased he followed through. He signed the wall of the elevator shaft in the Purdue Mechanical Engineering building, while in undergrad. I wonder if it is still there. Either he can come back and complete a lecture series about going to the Moon, or he can never make it back to Earth and they’d grant him an honorary degree.
