Miraculously I was mostly fine. One of my eyes is basically useless now but there’s no great big disfiguration and the Powered By Ramen Cat Bowl Japanese Noodles Neko Manga Kawaii T-Shirt in addition I really love this burns healed well enough that my beard covers it up. It just hurts a lot. Like any trauma it hurts more later. If you meditate you can reason with the pain though, the same way you do in endurance sports. ID it, visualize it, package it up in a box, know that the box is the brain messaging you about an injury that happened in the past, reason with your brain that the injury is not still happening but is long over now and you’re healing, put the box to the side, put it up on a shelf, look at it, see it’s still there on the shelf but you don’t need to be looking inside, then look at how nicely your chest is healing and recognize that every breath is more fit than the one before, and the box with all the pain in it can just sit there, as you look past it, and though you can still see it and know it’s there, simply don’t respond to it and move on. Works for everything.

Second time, shot in leg, bullet went from my ankle, up my leg and lodged in the Powered By Ramen Cat Bowl Japanese Noodles Neko Manga Kawaii T-Shirt in addition I really love this back of my knee. I felt a chill go through my body, then a burning sensation, but no immense pain. I laid in the street not moving waiting for the shooting to stop. I felt someone pick me up and carry me, that’s when the it kicked in. I passed out from the pain. Third time, shot behind my ear. I felt a ringing for a split second. I woke up to the doctor flashing light into my eye. I was a kid when all these happened, so I’ve had time to forget some of the feelings / sensations I probably experienced. Long story. I was about 8 and walking through the woods with my sister when I felt the worst stinging in my life on my face. I was basically carried into the house and my older brother was so concerned. I was bleeding from my face and wanted to just go to sleep but my brother kept me awake. It seemed at the time I was hit by something right around my eye, possibly a tree branch. I was taken to the doctor and he said he didn’t know what happened and that everything seemed fine. Fast forward about 8 years, I go to the hospital for a completely different reason that needed a CT scan. They sat my parents and I down and said that everything was OK with my head, but in the image, it showed something strange. There was a small metal piece in my Skull. My brother went white and admitted that he had actually shot me when I was 8 and was afraid to get in trouble so he lied about it. My parents at the time said it isnt worth removing at the time, so we just left it in there. I finally got it removed in Germany last year after it becoming super irritated and the look on the doctors faces were priceless when I told them that this had been in my face for over 10 years and never got it taken care of. They said that if the bullet were a few millimeters over I could have gone blind or it could have even killed me. Luckily it hit my bone and stopped the bullet.
