Taking the Portugal Football joao felix illustration shirt But I will love this Scottish Highlands for example. It used to all be mostly dense, dense forest about 5000 years ago but monoculture and centuries of persecuting wolves and other apex predators have transformed the land into more of a barren tundra. And there are TONS of deer around. So whatever of the forest is left, is overeaten by all of the deer, also a hazard for driver’s etc. This is true of most of Europe, North America and other placed where people have lived in great densities. If we have any hope of replenishing these old forests or even just parts of them, the most natural solution is to reintroduce apex predators into the environment. The spring back can be very, very quick taking Yellowstone and other national parks for example.

That’s gotta be true. Also, I’ve heard the Portugal Football joao felix illustration shirt But I will love this odds of cars hitting children playing in the street are greatly reduced by surrounding their houses with lions – because, you know, of their landscape of fear and large predators They also change the course of rivers. By wolves keeping the deer (and other species) population in check, there is more grass and plant life along riversides that keep the soil together. This makes the river meander and deviate from its course less than it usually would. If I’m being hunted, wide expanses of no cover like fields and roads are very scary places to be. There’s no way to break a predator’s line of sight!
