it also had some interesting drama but i think it’s important for all of us to remember that this show was filmed a year ago before going to attack the Porg Fan Made Christmas & Prints shirt besides I will buy this queens. i mean jimbo, kandy and heidi just announced they’re doing a cruise together so it’s probably safe to say they’ve patched things over. A lot of the jokes were directly from the show lol. Like the Attica line was when the girls were in jail because they were mistaken for hooker’s. And the dog years joke to Jimbo was something Bea Arthur’s character said to Rue Mcclanahan’s character Her facial expressions and gestures were spot on as well. I really wanted her to tell one of them to go hug a landmine, though! I don’t think people are very familiar with it outside of USA. I’ve only heard of Golden Girls through references in other, more popular TV shows.

I know Bea Arthur from Golden Girls but didn’t catch most of the Porg Fan Made Christmas & Prints shirt besides I will buy this references either! They felt like they were pretty deep cuts? Alexis was good. But I’m a Golden Girls stan so I clocked that some of her jokes were word for word from the show. She was still funny regardless Same with Joan Rivers. When you do someone funny if you’re able to take one of the thousands of funny things they’ve ever said and apply the right one to the context to be able to properly answer the question is a skill. That’s the difference between a great performance and Alyssa Edwards doing Joan Crawford Totally agree. I don’t think it’s a problem reusing a celebs lines as long as you can match the energy and aren’t just saying random things that don’t add value
