God can be one, but there are others Existentialism would be the response to nihilism. Since existence precedes essence, it is up to the individual to determine it’s own ideals, strives and believes. I personally enjoy Camus for his humanist tendencies. The post also mixes up norms and values. Religion in general seems to be somewhat obsessed with the norms part of scripture, foregoing the values which I feel should be the central tennet of practicing faith.
