Macro: The world is fucked, I’m quite nihilistic, why bring a child into a world that’s run by psychopaths that only make decisions based on greed instead of what’s ethical and morally sound. In the Pontiac Service Shirt it is in the first place but last 3 decades we’ve had two recessions, a pandemic, massive climate change, I don’t think that trend is going to improve any time soon. I’m so tired. I’d rather foster a child that’s already here than create another, and only if I have a supportive community to help me. I don’t have a temper that can handle children. I don’t believe in hitting your kids, but I know that if they did one thing to piss me off of I would want to smack them. I am a parent of 3 kids. The real reason that all of you shouldn’t want to have kids is time. It takes all your time to raise kids, and you won’t have time or energy for pursue anything else other than thinking about your kids I’ll preface this by saying that kids aren’t a hard no for me; they’re a possibility and I’m sure that I would be very happy having them.

Pontiac Service Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

That being said, not having kids means earlier retirement, flexible schedules, being able to make one meal for everyone, ease of travel, being able to watch whatever we want, not having to worry about taking care of a disabled loved one… generally, it means more freedom. I already raised one. I raised my baby brother when I was 5 until I was 15, ten years of raising him as if he was my own (and myself let’s be real) and then after I moved out of that bad situation and was forced to leave him behind, I dealt with years of being unable to get out of bed, go to school, leave the Pontiac Service Shirt it is in the first place but house at all when I did get up. I was overwhelmed with depression and anxiety. I’m 25 now and only just found a medication that makes me feel like I’m really alive and happy. (And therapy yes, but no amount of therapy can make my brain produce serotonin) I want to spend the rest of my life taking care of me. Focusing on me. My partner is included in this, but we take care of each other. It’s not one sided or stressful.
