Yeah, it definitely depends on how you raise them. We focus on together time over gifts (but they do still get a few small gifts each in their socks). Birthdays are more of a gift giving event. Yule becomes a huge month-long party where we do something fun every day: bake different types of cookies, decorate, do little craft projects with a movie on in the Police Navidad Christmas Tshirt Feliz Navidad Shirt moreover I love this background, there’s mulled wine for adults/hot cider for kids, and they love to learn about traditions from other cultures. The big day itself is everyone just hanging around in pajamas. We stopped traveling once we had kids and we just relax with some delicious food. It’s awesome. Idk man, I’m very happy to spend the holidays with my adult siblings (late 30s to early 50s). We feel like kids again and lifelong inside jokes fly around non-stop. Only two of them out of 6 have kids and the kids themselves actually don’t even fit in as they take after the other parent other than my siblings. I’m sure for some people, the holidays feel more special with kids but saying they aren’t as special without them in general? GTFO.

I think most parents would say it gave them a sense of purpose and made them feel more content. I don’t know, I don’t have kids. I never understood the Police Navidad Christmas Tshirt Feliz Navidad Shirt moreover I love this “who is going to take care of you when you’re older” question. Uhhh, the care team at whatever 5-star facility they end up in because they are flush with cash from not having kids. My brother-in-law is semi-retired at 40 and has plenty of cash to plan for whatever comes down the road and to spoil his goddaughter if he wants to. My grandfather was financially successful in life, he was able to pay for 24hr in home assistance in his last few years. But my Aunts would watch them to make sure they did their job. One day, my Aunt came in an asked the aide if he had gotten his medicine. The aide laughed and said “no, that stuff doesn’t work, I gave him orange juice”. My Aunt called the agency and she never came back. If my Aunt wasn’t around to catch that…. I always thought about keeping a fund to get myself humanely euthanized (maybe in another country) if I get to the point of needing that much assistanceq
