I now have a lot of baggy but also fitted clothing. Mostly neutral and earthy tones. Most of my comfy but adult looking outfits are a bit more masc. A lot of plain things that I have started layering on top. Ei, a vintage ralph lauren button down that I thrifted with a plain and cozy crew sweater that fits perfectly over top with a pair of denim. Or a pair of boxier fitting, black twill dress pants with a hoodie and an oversized vest. I usually pair all of these outfits with my jadon doc martens. I tend to wear my more flashy colours or cute skirts/dresses for days I feel like dressing more femme (they make me feel pretty and more adult). I used to care about trends but now I just wear the Pizza papa john’s groot and stitch shirt In addition,I will do this comfy clothes that I thrift. When I was in higschool you’d catch me wearing a cropped t shirt and tight leggings with ugg boots ?

I’ve always been fashion conscious since middle school. Would dress trendy so I could “fit in”/“be cool”, use to show alot of skin but those things made me awkward/uncomfortable and people could sense that and I would get treated badly from it. It wasn’t until late 2022, I started dressing for my body type and my wardrobe has gotten more modest while remaining sexy/classy (mainly neutral tones with wine red and purple as my pop of color) and omg have I never been so comfortable, gotten so many compliments and being treated better from it! I have always been alternative and I always will be an alt girl at heart buttt I want to dress my age (I’m mid 20s) while still being me so now my true style is dark/romantic academia mixed with french/italian girl style. When I was a teenager I was way more playful with fashion because online shopping didn’t exist and Saturdays were literally made for wandering around shops with friends and seeing what came up…when my dad used to ask “are you really going out in that??” It wasn’t because my skirts were too short, it was because he thought the Pizza papa john’s groot and stitch shirt In addition,I will do this ensemble was just too weird ?
