I know a couple of people who were kicked out at 18. Either the Pittsburgh Steelers Jerome Bettis The Bus 2023 Shirt and I will buy this relationship between the parents and child was already terrible, or the parents simply saw them as adults and didn’t want to parent anymore. In both instances, the relationship was more or less destroyed after. I know far more people who wanted to get out at 18 because they had controlling parents and wanted freedom… Personally, I didn’t leave home until my late 20s. Financial issues stalled me from leaving, and honestly, my parents never forced my siblings or myself out. They actually like us, and we all get along very well. And staying home wasn’t seen as bad or something to be ashamed of. I often miss being around my family all the time now that I have my own place.

They don’t. Some parents do, but the Pittsburgh Steelers Jerome Bettis The Bus 2023 Shirt and I will buy this vast majority don’t. People take these relatively niche stereotypes and blow them up to represent a FAR bigger portion of people than is reality. My kids would really have to become terrible people for me to ever not give them a place to stay.. that shit is dark If your parents kick you out before you are ready, tell them you will put them in the cheapest retirement home in the state and only visit once a year when they’re old. Not all Americans kick their kids out once they turn 18. As an example, I’m 23 and still live with my parents. They don’t make me pay bills or rent or anything like that, they just want me to save my money up and feed myself. My mother has had 5 children. The youngest just turned 18. She has kicked 3 of 5 kids out as soon as the turned 18. The 2 that wernt kicked out were not in her care or custody at the time. She will die alone in a nursing home. I’m 35 and live with my parents still. I don’t make a lot of money with my job to live on my own…yes I would love living on my own but I love to be around family My twin 20 year old boys both work full time and still live at home. One has a good Union Labor job making $35 an hour and the other makes $28 an hour working at a recycling transfer station. They are both saving for a down payment on a house. They are free to live here until they decide to leave… This is the exception, not the rule. You’ll hear far more stories of kids not leaving home until their late 20s.
