Tbh I think if you are on the Pittsburgh Pirates Autism Awareness Knowledge Power shirt Additionally,I will love this centre left its important to reclaim what it means to be on the centre left and not just go for the policies that aren’t controversial and don’t answer the questions and issues a lot of us in the working class are going through right now because if we don’t answer those questions and come up with comprehensive solutions that isn’t just following Blatcherism they will turn to the far right and far left for answers. Centrism isn’t normally bad. In today’s political climate, at least in the US, you can’t actually be central. One side is doing horrible things and the other is not. If you are attempting to be central you are saying you are ok with the right wing attempting an insurrection, using the COVID bills to funnel money out , separating children from their parents and then sending the parents back to their home countries without their kids, and so on. But definition you if you don’t stand against that you are saying it is ok and are not center. It isn’t the extreme left saying you are bad for being center. It is logic and ethics saying so.

A lot of time “centrists” really aren’t centrists and are actually on one side and just don’t want to admit it. For example: I’ve seen a lot of people use centrism as a way to hide their cowardice. After all, obviously, the Pittsburgh Pirates Autism Awareness Knowledge Power shirt Additionally,I will love this status quo oscillates around the political center. When you are scared of new ideas, that’s where you stay. It’s safe. It’s the path of least resistance. Not all so called centrists are like this, obviously. But a lot of them are. Many people just can’t be bothered to advocate and fight for change, even when things are very bad. Centrists who oscillate between the sides and have some definetely left-wing ideas along with right-wing ones, that I have less of a problem with, even as a total leftist. It’s the people who are too “middle-y” for everything that irk me. I think it’s becomes sometimes being a centrist seems like choosing a midpoint between two other sets of ideals, rather than having any principles of its own. If someone values being in the middle relative to the two ends, then if one end becomes more and more extreme, the centrist midpoint itself becomes pretty extreme in an absolute sense.
