How are you figuring a fan is giving you a sinus infection? If it’s kicking up dust and what not that’s a cleaning issue and not a fan issue. Fans dry some people’s airways/sinuses out and that dryness can lead into a sinus infection. Particularly if you’re predisposed to them.

I am like your wife, the Philadelphia Eagles We Almost Always Almost Win Eagles Football 2023 Shirt Besides,I will do this droning constant noise of the fan blocks out the weird random noises that will wake me up (I struggle with terrible insomnia). I can’t sleep without mine, and recently bought a travel back up when I forgot mine on a road trip. For me the noise is the worst part and even with stuff in my ear I can still hear it. Couldn’t sleep like this. Thats so weird, fans are such white noise to me. I have to consciously think about the fact that they make noise to make myself hear them. I personally love the sound of a fan, but at the same time, know exactly how you feel with not being able to tune our certain sounds. The harder I try, the more it bothers me. I hate having fans on while sleeping because it dries out my nasal passages and skin. I end up with interrupted sleep because my airways are so dry and I cough through the night. For me, I’m prone to having a dry mouth/lips when I sleep due to mouth breathing because of a deviated septum, and a ceiling fan makes it twice as bad if I even up sleeping on my back for part of the night. Honestly, for me sleeping with the fan on would be a deal breaker for me. The noise, the draft etc would make it incredibly frustrating for me to sleep. That said, I also would know that long before deciding to move in with someone else. She seems like she’s being pretty rude. Calling you fat seems over the line for something so minor. Pretty big red flag
