I would say that it is true that adults over 35, specially long-time couples, make out less often than they used to in their younger days… but it’s not true that they don’t make out at all. There is a difference between knowing a subject and knowing HOW to teach said subject. This why college professors are so many college professors suck at teaching. Homeschool parents tutor rather than teach. Very different skillset. Even parents whose kids go to school often end up filling in gaps (for example, cvc blending, math facts, etc.) when curriculum dictates that these things not be covered due to some fad. I’d say most parents don’t realize is that there’s way more to what teachers learn than classroom management, and beyond the training we get and credential school I think a lot of it comes from experience. My first year of teaching I wasn’t that good of a teacher, but the longer I taugh one grade level the better I got at it. There’s no way to have one person be the best teacher to teach all of TK through 12. Despite that, there are some homeschooling families who are doing a great job, and some who are robbing their kids of an education. I’ve noticed it takes about 2 or 3 years for a parent to realize which one they are.

Kinesthetically, Auditoriy, Visually, other?A mixture of al?Some do best individually, some in group Everyone wants the kiddo to be best prepared for the next level of life and lifelong learning.
