Cool! So we’ll get an equal amount of republicans and democratic ads? Or will it just continue to be the Perkins Oklahoma it’s where my story begin’s shirt and I will buy this liberal propaganda machine? Asking for a friend, plz don’t dox So basically ads are just going to be filtered to show left leaning candidates. Most redditor’s are lefties and so are their staff. Can’t see how this is unbiased and fair. But, whatever. “As the 2020 election approaches, we are doing are best to sway the election. Deleting and banning anything pro-Trump” What you should do is ban all political ads, but that means you can’t advertise your preferred party so I doubt you’ll do that Not sure why reddit would need political advertising… 99% of posts and people that are on here are liberal and anti trump anyways How about removing all these stupid features no one asked for (Reddit coins, user icons in comments and trending tab). These ads are going to be absolutely slaughtered by copypastas. There’s a reason why 99% of reddit ads have comments off. The problem aren’t the traditional ads shown on Reddit, but rather all the misinformation being virally inserted into Reddit threads by bad actors who typically are foreign controlled.

Perkins Oklahoma it’s where my story begin’s shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

How about not silencing r/the_donald because it hurts Reddit’s feelings? And r/politics really needs to be named to r/orangemanbad So does this mean that there is going to be more or less Chinese propaganda. Cuz after all, almost all the Perkins Oklahoma it’s where my story begin’s shirt and I will buy this ads are owned by China. The ads on here are dogshit. Look at the trash you let through already. We should believe that the ads that are reviewed (read: hand selected to back Reddit’s beliefs) will be any better or different? Also how will you guys address foreign interference in our elections. There were a lot of European Bernie Bros shilling for him pretty hard. I fail to see how that’s different than the alleged Russian “troll farms”. So any ads by a conservative will be booted for being fake. Nice job. Keeping up with Facebook. Liberal ads can say whatever, and will stay up as being all true. Bad Orange man our President Trump is still gonna win. Will be fun to watch the snowflakes melt for another 4 years. Gonna sit back eat my popcorn and enjoy the show. ? Trump will win the 2020 election by a landslide and no amount of Reddit Policy Change will ever be able to prevent that This change puzzles me a little, because this system seems pretty easy to exploit. Why not ban all political ads? As the 2020 election approaches, we are updating our policy on political advertising to better reflect the role Reddit plays in the political conversation and bring high quality political ads to Redditors.
