Adjusting iris control and color balancing whenever the lighting rig changes from purple to green so the artist doesn’t look like they’re going to puke. It’s likely techs (guys that hang the lights but don’t run cues, for example) that are watching LOTR here, as they’re standing by until something breaks or the show ends. But still it’s a bad look. It looks like you can’t be bothered to pay attention. I can’t imagine the band, or their manager would appreciate that. I’ve worked theaters to stadiums, and I can’t think of one artist I’ve worked for that wouldn’t light your ass up for this. And that’s how it should be.
