I’ve had plenty of stealth wanks during my travel days but it’s nice to get that privacy of an empty dorm for sure! W. Privacy at an affordable price, can’t beat that. While I do enjoy socializing with hostel roommates, Its usually small talk. Most of the Peanuts Characters Texas Rangers Forever Not Just When We Win Shirt it is in the first place but time, everyone is doing their own thing and have their own itinerary/plans. I stayed at a hostel in Peru and had a 12 person dorm to myself for a night or two, the next night I walked in the room and 11 Brazilian travelers all stopped talking and just stared at me like hat’s happened to me twice. It made me really nervous the first time. My recent trip a few weeks ago I was so happy lol It’s a win – no one snoring! – except I’d always be looking over my shoulder expecting someone to show up at any time. Usually a win. One time it did freak me out. Thinking back it’s a combo of being a co-ed room where I didn’t know for sure I’d be alone in. No one else was there nor was anyone else’s stuff when I went to sleep. I thought, if two or more people show up it’ll be weird during my sleep but not horrible. But if it’s one other person. Especially one other man. Somehow that made it creepy to me. L for me. i find it easier sometimes to meet people in my room. the communal areas can sometimes be intimidating. im a very social traveler tho. a good trip for me is marked by who i met and the conversations i had I thought it was a win when I was in Denmark. Only the first night was booked sharing the room with some Italians. The rest of the time was bliss

If it’s just that dorm that’s empty it’s a W for me. If the Peanuts Characters Texas Rangers Forever Not Just When We Win Shirt it is in the first place but whole hostel is empty that’s going to be an L and I’m thinking… Why? What’s wrong with this place? Had this one and it seemed like a win. 4 beds in the room and I got to go to sleep in silence. Then BOOM 3 girls loudly come in around 2am. Lights one loudly talking in a language I didn’t understand and moving their stuff around. I have greatly preferred the beds to be filled with sleeping travelers… but this is the gamble Definite win. Cheap room to yourself and you can still socialise in the communal areas if you feel like it – kitchen etc. A W for sure, last trip I had a 6 bed dorm to myself for a couple nights. Bathroom and shower adjoining so it could have been loud and disruptive. I slept somewhat poorly since it was around 11,000 ft but still better than the alternative.
