Since sending all unknown callers to a robot, I get SIGNIFICANTLY less spam calls. Like almost none, now. And if it’s someone I need to speak to, I get their words transcribed and can connect immediately. It’s pretty fucking awesome. its funny you say this actually. I’m going to school for business and financing and one of my courses has a Fraud section and in that were pyramid schemes. Mary Kay (cosmetic brand) is guilty of this actually. I remember a long, long time ago i went to my moms cousins house and there were ambassadors for them selling their products. They then told me “When i get older i should become an ambassador because I get commission.” MLM is horrible. What? You don’t want to make $5000 per year MAX? Sounds like you’re not ~ boss babe ~ enough for an MLM anyways ? I got first introduced to it back in college. One of my international classmates invited me. He told me “don’t tell you parents”… I rode with him and other classmates to some event (which I learned a few years later was an event for a MLM company ). I never got into it because it seems so much like a scam. “Don’t tell your parents” wtf. I was 20 yo at the Peace Love Shamrock St Patrick’s Day Irish Heart T-Shirt Besides,I will do this time. What a poor way to recruit people.

My cousin and his wife are huge into Amway. They’re religious fundamentalists so it kinda ties into the Peace Love Shamrock St Patrick’s Day Irish Heart T-Shirt Besides,I will do this same mindset because of how Christian-seeming it all is. They wouldn’t stfu about it and trying to soft-sell stuff to me because I make like 3x what they do and they know it because of the sort of work I do. Worst of all, they tried to get his younger sisters involved in it–they’re 17-18. I had to take them aside after we were alone and explain how MLMs actually make their money and that they’d need to exploit friends and family to make it profitable. My mom does these even though I told her they are scams. She says she does it so she can pick out products she wants and keep them but it always ends with buckets of things we don’t need or use and her without money. It takes up most of our basement all of the things she has from the multiple MLMs she has partook in. If she just stopped with MLMs we would have a basement that we can use.
