And the Peace love cardinals Arizona cardinals Football team trending shirt moreover I will buy this SAME rich companies that won’t pay employees a decent wage but will complain that “No OnE WaNtS tO wOrK” They do. They then ask people to donate so they can make their money back. When you donate to these things, you’re not donating to the charity, you’re just helping the business get back what they donated. Look it up. This would only ever make sense if they did like a dollar match. So if you donate $20, they *also, donate $20, so the charity gets a whole $40 from the whole thing… though I have a feeling that’s not the case Try walking around the multibillion dollar hospital I work at and seeing signs that ask the underpaid employees to donate to their “cause”. The kicker is that when they send the donation to whatever charity they are able to claim it as a charitable donation and reduce the taxes they already don’t fully pay Like Walmart, this MFrs have billions, yet they want donations to ride on backs of those that have little. Fuck The Waltons. I once pledged $20×12 months to help sick kids on some radio show. Even refused shirt/mug they offered as a thank you. Just wanted to help out. One year later I get a letter thanking me for my donation etc and letting me know they would continue to take out $20 a month and I didn’t have to do anything. I’m like WTF? So I called them but couldn’t get a hold of anyone. Called Amex, they tried also but no answer so they blocked them. I never donate at the register. Remember: if you look poor and/or disabled-Salvation Army will pester you if you walk by, trying to guilt trip you into giving them money. Dont. Walk by with pokerface. They underpay their workers and exploit them. And thats even before you get into more fun stuff, like their salute, military structure and involvement with suppressing worker movements and fighting against worker rights.

Same with those drive through “do you want to round it up to the Peace love cardinals Arizona cardinals Football team trending shirt moreover I will buy this nearest dollar and donate to a child in need?” Bro. I was the child in need. It’s because it’s cheaper to buy the social credit for charity if your customers supply the money. The charities probably also pay to be presented to the customers, I bet. I see you posted that source a lot. Any other legitimate sources? Just doesn’t seem to make sense that these businesses are doing that out of the goodness of their hearts Worth pointing out that when a company is “worth 10 billion” it doesn’t actually mean they have ten billion. If a company owns ten thousand dollars worth of cars, they are worth ten thousand dollars. It doesn’t mean that they have cash – they might need to sell a car just to buy groceries. This is obviously a simplification but it’s a point about the difference between money and worth that many people don’t seem to get. This. I’m barely surviving for the last 15 years on disability because, apparently, when I lose my ability to produce/sell goods, my entire worth is $750/month. As someone who works as a clerk we have to say and asl certain things or our mangers will give up a write up or we’ll get an annoying speech only having to say those lines. This so much this. When they first started doing this I felt so much obligation and pressure to say yes. I’ll usually do it if it’s not much to round to the dollar but if it’s over $0.50 I feel the same exact way.
