Because between my card and my phone I don’t need cash. The only place I’ve been to that was cash only in recent memory was a food truck and a karaoke place. Unless I’m going to one of those two places I have no reason to use cash and subsequently don’t touch it. In China, where there is basically no cash anymore, homeless people all have QR codes where you can donate money to. I’ve never give out money to street beggers mainly because I know they will use it for drugs. Others they are just lazy and want easy money.
