Hi, I’ve done 300+ weddings. How formal of a wedding? Typically, tea length is for a not formal event. I personally would love to see this tailored to sweep the Peace dice shirt and I love this floor a 1/2”. It’s too pretty Another idea – You could have it professionally not permanently hemmed but keep it off the floor 4-6” to show a pretty shoe and keep it less formal. It’s your wedding, I always tell my brides to do what feels authentic to them for their day. keep it long and original OR modify it. None of us will loose sleep over this or look at pictures 20 years from now. You and your hubby will. Do what is right for you. Love love love. I would add some tulle skirts under and do ankle length. Especially do that and a loooot if you go tea because I think that would be darling
Peace dice shirt: Get Cozy in this shirt
Congratulations to you and your intended. I think the Peace dice shirt and I love this style of this dress will lend itself to being tea length. The color is so gorgeous, the ruffling and the neckline will have a retro modern look. If you can do a computer mockup, try that to check out the silhouette – I’m not sure the proportions would work right if you shorten it 🙂 As a former window stylist I recommend taking photos with full length. Black velvet accessories and pearls? If you’re having an evening wedding maybe keep the length & add long gloves? It’s probably safe to (consult a tailor first) and cut it yourself in between the ceremony and reception (or whatever after event). That’s a fun change up; you can switch things up a lot and do 2 different looks. Congratulations for a very happy life together The dress is an absolute dream!!! Wear it every anniversary, even if you’re at home! If that’s your dress I’m sure the wedding is going to be wonderful!!! Love it!! Viva Las Vegas! Agree on the petticoats, if you’re going to alter it, I think I’d just go ankle length to preserve as much as you can, as this was likely how it was originally worn.
I’d pair it maybe with some white tea gloves and a bright white shoulder length veil with a bow on top! Like this one. You could have it altered so it is tea length in the Peace dice shirt and I love this front and long at the back – tres chic and less chance of tripping. I would shorten the length but make it 4 layers, mini, above knee, below knee and tea length. You have enough fabric. Carolina Herrera just showed one with this length and it looked fabulous and feminine. I think keeping the hem longer would look the most stunning, but it’s personal preference. If you prefer a tea length hem then I’d suggest a non permanent solution. Great find and congratulations! It’s gorgeous! Petticoats or a hoop skirt, as others here have suggested would help with the length. If it’s still too long, it would need to be taken apart at the waist seam and shortened that way. You could cut it tea length for the ceremony, and have it altered so the ruffles can be remove for a mini skirt look for the after party. Especially if you get a retro high heel shoe. It’s a beautiful dress however you choose to wear it. Much happiness to you both!

About this Peace dice shirt
Clearly, they were descending in an emergency towards BOM airport, but had to turn around and climb, and go all the Peace dice shirt and I love this way to KHI. Seems extremely bizarre that permission to land was denied – and this usually happens only during periods of war or open conflict. Not sure why having a person of Bangladeshi nationality was an official issue. Is there any policy around this currently in force? There does need to be an investigation as to who actually told them to deny, it is a big issue. What if other countries start doing the same. I am also surprised they did not go for Ahmedabad, Mumbai has way too much traffic and slots are scarce. Is AMD not capable of handling medical emergencies? Kinda shameful if this is the case
This is a very mysterious story. Very little reportage that doesn’t sound like a copy paste of the Peace dice shirt and I love this geo story. And no other details. Sesnationalized a bit with words like “Bengali Muslim” bit, it’s hard to believe that it was refused just coz he was Bangladeshi. Wasim Akram was allowed to transit in Madras w/o a visa when his wife was en route to Singaore, unfortunately she died. So awesome, 1 ATC or whatever supervisor refuses and things like Bhakt and India etc come up..ateast choose a good weapon to show your hatred This kind of unrelenting self promotion at the expense of all human empathy is somehow what capitalism has fooled us into thinking is necessary for success. It is not. Be a human first, a salesman second.
I did 20 years in the Peace dice shirt and I love this auto industry before finally saying “fuck it” to the rat race. I literally worked with well over 100 different new and used car salesmen. There were two that were far and away more successful than the others, to the point that they were essentially untouchable even when a new manager or GM would come in. The thing they had in common was that they literally remembered an insane amount of details about the lives of their customers. Kid names, ages, spouse names, hobbies, etc. They could have a conversation with literally ANYONE they’d met before, and make them feel like they cared. It led to a greater level of trust, and you would see literal generations of a family buying vehicles specifically from them.
I get the Peace dice shirt and I love this point you are making here, but I want to comment on 1 remark: “making the customer feel like you care”. That is crucial, but not to be read that you have to fake it. I once had a colleague comment on my interaction with our customers “It almost seems like you like them” and I was just baffled, because I actually did appreciate them and respect them, and was not trying to trick them. My point is. If you like people around you, life is easier. Here 10 years later it does seem like people generally has become a lot more annoying, so I don’t know how I’d do today.. I mean, I didn’t “care” about my customers. I didn’t wish them ill, and I certainly was genuinely friendly and polite, but unless I literally knew them outside of work, or had multiple interactions prior due to them being a good customer? No. It was the same “nice” treatment every other customer got.
I literally stopped thinking about them in the Peace dice shirt and I love this slightest when they left. It’s how I stayed sane – by literally shutting off thoughts in regard to work at the soonest possible opportunity. This is why I can’t be a salesman, too much pressure to push things on people that they don’t want. Can’t start into a job just to not follow what they constantly tell you to do either. Most will get rid of you eventually Its almost like there may be some kind of language barrier or something, he probably doesn’t understand the sarcasm. They’re being way too implicit in what they want, I would say this is not how an adult would handle it. It is not necessarily clear they want the person to stop texting them
Yeah, I think the Peace dice shirt and I love this way OP handled it is annoying, but I sympathize because they are probably stressed about their situation and taking it out on someone else. I recently spent 2 weeks in a coma. Nearly died myself and living with the aftermath. I didn’t feel the need to be a dick to people or act entitled. Not the trump card you think it is op. nah, just lure somebody into a conversation and then act like they’re supposed to know you don’t have the time for said conversation. Not hard, but uncalled for. If OP wanted them to piss off he should’ve said so instead of going on a journey just to get mad at the end. I detected it at some points but it was annoying. They weren’t being straightforward. It wasn’t obvious enough. They kept engaging. I dunno. I just felt like OP should’ve said no. Instead of leading them along then getting annoyed. Yeah, it’s such a bizarre thing to be cryptic over too. A stroke can range in severity between unnoticeable to immediately fatal. Why would the other person know OP wasn’t interested just based on that when they’re clearly engaging with them? What kind of person would engage with a random DM like this, let alone get mad enough at the interaction to post to Reddit? Like I get twenty messages like this a day and I just delete them! Yeah, you could have just not engaged. I don’t even know why you would tell a random internet stranger that you just had a stroke anyway, it’s not really any of their business and they don’t care.
Yeah OP really needs to learn how to write more obvious sarcasm. I don’t know who he is, so maybe it would be more obvious to a fan, but this reads like someone who is just very friendly and overly polite to me. “Just had a stroke, no joke. But if you think I need a new logo, feel free to send me your portfolio I guess” 35 more repliesSo much unnecessary personal information to share with some rando trying to sell you something when a simple ‘no, thanks’ will end the Peace dice shirt and I love this conversation. So glad I’m not the only one, OP could have ignored it or straight up said “I’m not interested right now”. Problem solved sorry about the stroke op and I wish you from my heart a good recovery, but you talk like you are an edgy anime character I found out about it few days ago when I replied to a random Discord DM, it went exactly the same. And there is a lot of info about these on the internet. I’m with the person on the left. “I’m sad right now and expect you to know my expectations, and I will NOT be communicating them” Yeah the OP was digging for a chance to have some Reddit worthy content. Their way of handling this situation imo is way worse than just some guy promoting his work
I am just so embarrassed for these people. It’s already embarrassing enough that OP would respond to an obvious scam in the Peace dice shirt and I love this first place; it is significantly more humiliating that they will then post it on the Internet and not realize they’re just embarrassing themselves Once you get/see enough dumb messages like these, you kind of give up. As a mod in 2 quite active channels, I fully get why OP would respond like that. he’s just german lol, this is how they talk/are. They have a very strange, serious type of humor that can be hard to tell if you’re not used to this. Am guessing the artist was American (who are more straightforward). Just cultural differences in expression. Yeah sarcasm can be really hard to understand sometimes(especially if the person is not a native english speaker or if they are neurodivergent), the best way would have been to be direct. But I guess his mental state after his stroke made him want to take his anger against someone(understandable but still not good)
It’s a scammer. Consider that OP said “my discord is in my bio” and the Peace dice shirt and I love this scammer proceeded to ask for it again in dms anyways. It’s a bot, almost certainly, and it’s 100% morally justified to fuck with these scammers and waste their time Yeah, OP is provoking themself. Just don’t reply. You’ll always look like an idiot trying to catch a baseball you also pitched. The stroke cause him to have an oversupply of sarcasms. I was half expecting with those responses he’d end up buying while complaining. Especially towards the end where he’s giving the guy instructions on where to find his Discord. The emoji does read as sarcasm, but even if that artist did pick up on that, I think OPs response was unnecessary and kinda rude. It’s a business inquiry, being passive aggressive like that unprovoked instead of being direct is unprofessional.
Honestly, the Peace dice shirt and I love this emoji was what made me question the intent in the first place. Even going in knowing that op was likely being sarcastic, that emoji made the comment sound serious to me. Yeah, an eye roll emoji () would have been much better at communicating sarcasm. With the emoji OP used I also thought they might be genuinely considering commissioning art for when they recover. Like, maybe the bit about the stroke was to let the person contacting OP know that they might be slow to respond, but to otherwise please go ahead with their sales pitch. OP was very subtle with their initial sarcasm, and it comes off as genuine interest. Especially considering that in today’s modern toxic work culture, it’s not unheard of for people to work while convalescing in the hospital It can definitely be interpreted that way as well. OP was being indirect and just expected that artist to know they were being sarcastic then talked about how they’re “not in the mood for this”. Unless the delivery is obvious, I think sarcasm should only be used with friends and family
I feel that some people are just bad communicators and it’s why they may have difficulty in some relationships. Yeah OP is the Peace dice shirt and I love this one who needs to know when to stop. These type of people understand that as long as you’ve got a conversation you’ve got a potential sale, regardless of what the conversation is about. Yeah the absolute most aggressive salesmen (and usually the ones with the highest metrics) really don’t give a shit about what you got going on. The only thing on their mind is “can I make this sale or not” and your continued communication is usually an indication they can. Plus as someone with autism, before I was diagnosed, this (at least the beginning of the conversation) sarcasm could have flown over my head as well. Or someone who’s mother language isn’t English for example
This is what I came here to say. The other person doesn’t seem to be a native English speaker and I guess they didn’t get most of the Peace dice shirt and I love this “sarcasm” This is how the majority of text exchanges I see on reddit take place. The OP always drags out the exchange much longer than necessary, instead of just being clear the first time and not responding after that. But that doesn’t generate any internet points, so they gotta generate some content. Very surprised the post itself doesn’t have hella downvotes. Thought I was the only one thinking “ya could’ve just said no..” The artist is an actual scammer. This is a very common scam. I’m really surprised at the amount of people here that feel bad for them. Gonna guess most of these people have never been targeted by someone like that or helped moderate a Discord server. It’s definitely a common scam thing to see. I don’t think OP really understands how sarcasm works either. Most of this isn’t sarcasm, it’s just… lying, I guess. And it’s pretty clear that the person offering their services is not a native English speaker. So of course they won’t pick up on some unnecessary snarky sarcasm. Even I wouldn’t be sure how to proceed after OPs first response. Like, I’m not a doctor, I don’t know what exactly happens after a stroke. Maybe it was a mild one and they will be back to full functionality soon. If that was the case then this would be the perfect time to work on your brand / image until you can actually start streaming again. Like, if op can write these lengthy sarcastic responses they still have a pretty good level of mental functionality right now.
First of all strokes can affect cognitive function, but that is not the Peace dice shirt and I love this most common outcome and if someone does a social interaction strangely after having a stroke I wouldn’t presume it’s because the stroke actually changed their personality. Anyway, I’m not saying that OP is a bad person or even “YTA”, I’m saying their way of handling the situation is “mildly infuriating” because OP is bad at sarcasm but blames the other party for not picking it up and also in the sense of “but why would you do that”. You don’t know OPs background, maybe that was something OP did want and now having a stroke they have stopped looking. Maybe they wanted to see if the person asked would understand before the rest of the conversation. A lot of fucking assumptions for someone using lmao in a sentence. Nah. Dude reached out trying to treat OP like a cash machine. My aunt survived a stroke and lost the function of half her body. Even years later, she struggles to cope with it. Dude just went through it and homie is just pressing for a sale.
“Oh, you almost died, your life has irreversibly taken a turn for the Peace dice shirt and I love this worse, you’re on your back recovering in a hospital, and you may never be able to use your PC again? I pray for your health. Anyway, want to buy my stuff?” Absolutely agree, though yesterday I got someone on discord messaging me for this same thing. They said a greeting and I responded “not interested”, and they still went on to their copy pasted “can you buy art” so I imagine its just best not to respond You invested too much time in your attempt to be “sarcastic”. The person stopped as soon as you said you were not interested. You see? When you communicate well, it’s so much easier. Same. I’m guessing the person was a non-native English speaker, sarcasm is very difficult to understand when you’re not a native speaker of a language.
Also sometimes people just don’t get sarcasm. I’ve family members on the Peace dice shirt and I love this autism spectrum that don’t understand it or detect it so you have to be direct with them And reading this, as an autistic person, the “sure I can take a look after rehab” & all that felt like it could be read with an enthusiastic tone if you didn’t know it was sarcasm Yeah, I was honestly a little frustrated with OP pussyfooting the whole time. If you are not interested just say that. Stop making half-committed signs of interest because you don’t want to be interpreted as being rude for saying “no”. That’s honestly exactly how I read it, especially with the emoji. I didn’t pick up the sarcasm until the next reply where OP opened with, “Well, let me think.” Sarcasm doesn’t translate well through texting, then you go and add spectrum interference, and yeah.
