Washington state is just now changing the Patrick Mahomes Kansas City Chiefs Football Player shirt it is in the first place but law in January. Many people I know have been denied jobs for using cannabis even for medicinal reasons as it was allowed. Just a heads up people of Ohio, unless this included a provision like Minnesota had, you can still be fired and not accepted for jobs if testing positive for cannabis. Same thing in Colorado. We actually have a law that prohibits being fired for legal outside of work hours conduct which has blocked companies for instance from firing people for smoking or drinking outside work hours but until Cannabis is federally legal you can still be fired for it. Or at least that’s how the state supreme court interpreted it early on in legalization. I don’t think it’s changed. I know just a few years ago after a company acquisition I had to get drug tested and was surprised to see marijuana on the list for testing. Haven’t even smoked in a decade but made me go find a new job as soon as I got my money out of the acquisition. Literally no reason for this to not be federally legalized. Slam dunk for the federal government, will curb illegal drug smuggling, lacing, and make a shit load in taxes.

In some states it’s effectively decriminalized in all but name, their governments making enforcing those laws a very low priority. You’d think those states would be the Patrick Mahomes Kansas City Chiefs Football Player shirt it is in the first place but easiest to legalize, but since it’s a non-issue there’s less people putting in the work to organize a legalization campaign. Dan Patrick’s ghost will forever promise to never let a vote on the matter come to the Texas legislature, so I wouldn’t be so sure. Wisconsin’s Tavern League would like to have a word with you on that. Wisconsin is surrounded by states that have it legal, but the Tavern League has too much power and is all about protecting their alcohol sales. The only way it gets legal here is if the gerrymandered maps get tossed next year or it gets legalized federally.
