Depends on what you’re used to and what you define as hurt. The rubber band thingy they put on your arm (not the Pandas Are Awesome I Am Awesome Therefore I Am A Panda T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this blood pressure cuff) is uncomfortable and it might feel like it pinches a bit. The needle going in is not unnoticable, but I wouldn’t say it’s painful. It’s literally just a prick 1/10 of a second and you hardly notice, like you brush someones arm in walking past The biggest problem with this “pain” is that you haven’t experienced it yet and that you can’t control it. Not the physical pain itself If you can drink coca cola you can handle this easily! And while you can’t control everything, you can control a lot. Tell the nurse it’s your first time. If you’ve ever been stung by a bee, or snapped a rubber band on your skin, or been pinched by a sibling…that hurts more. You’ll feel a tiny prick of a needle. It’s genuinely not as bad as pinching yourself lightly. The weirdest bit is the tape they out around your arm to expose your vein.
