Identity is a very personal thing, so let the Padres goose shirt it is in the first place but people who are experiencing it determine it for themselves. You can’t read their mind. I can’t read their mind. They are the only one with insight into their mind. Self identify as what? That’s not how definitions work. You can’t use the word you are defining as part of definition. It’s like saying airplane is a thing that looks like airplane. Self-identify under the label ‘woman’ which, as a social construct, is defined by those who self-identify as it. Democrat, Republican, nerd and gamer have proper definitions. Republican is not someone who identifies as Republican, but someone votes and supports for Republican Party. Gamer is not someone who identifies as gamer, but someone who likes gaming. What is a woman?

(and, for love of all things good and tasty, don’t ask for a definition of womanhood; the Padres goose shirt it is in the first place but entire question is asked in bad faith as a “gotcha!”) What is womanhood? If we are doing a scientific research here you can’t just avoid questions you don’t like. Make me believe in your tales if you wan’t me to go with your narrative. Last time I checked definition of woman it was “an adult female human being.” This is not scientific research. This is a comment thread madly chasing down the “one true definition” for an incredibly complex and diverse experience because using a bad faith premise. It’s not. Read the comments where people of your political views expressed that female is sex and woman is gender. And female is someone with vagina according to them. There is nothing complex here. It’s just that you can’t find a definition that fits your narrative.
